|Position Imaging with the FONAR Upright™ MRI

Imaging in the FONAR Upright™ MRI allows almost unrestricted freedom of movement – and therefore almost any position of the patient is possible. Causes become visible without further examinations and unnecessary interventions. There is better differentiation and better definition.

Imaging of the lumbar and thoracic spine in natural weight-bearing state, standing or sitting, neutral position, flexion, hyperextension or lateral bending.

Imaging of the cervical spine in natural weight-bearing state, standing or sitting, neutral position, flexion, hyperextension, lateral bending or rotation.

Imaging ot the upper and lower extremities while standing.
Imaging of the joints in natural weight-bearing state and function.
Imaging of the head in natural weight-bearing state, sitting.
All examinations can be done as well in recumbent position, especially for comparison studies to the Upright™ MRT positions.
